I've been enjoying the amazing new mech guns, but they work so well people don't underestimate them anymore.

I have been thinking about building a Tippmann or two to really fly below the radar. I've always wanted a Tippmann Effect style gun. But one of these makes me think I could also make a gun that looks like a rental gun, but actually doesn't chop.

Do they need to be underestimated or are you just trying to not intimidate the rentals/newbie crowd?

The rental crowd at my local field is way more intimidated by my autococker than any electro gun.

Truth, and I also find, it's more of the soft goods than the marker that intimidates the new crowd.

Soooo true, A jersey inspire terror in the hart of the new player.
Played with the rental FT12 this WE (horrible experience btw) and new player was terrified of me just because of my rad soft goods. Thinking of it now, I still kicked their A$$ so...

On the bolt topic, I'm so mhe on this. The design look perfect and the price is interesting. Like John said it could be fun to upgrade a 98 for trolling. BUT, putting money on a inline tippmann is like playing the lottery; you better like to loose money for a very slim probability of result. Not quite my thing.

Yeah I must be really good, I wear a 15 year old Dye jersey. Or if I wear my old Renegade tiger stripe it's because I'm a sniper.

Clearly it's the 18in barrel on your Spyder.

If you wanna blast some fish in the barrel, you gotta rock the cargo shorts, white t-shirt, with some 90's high tops, and tall socks! Then go rental gun only! It doesn't matter what you are sporting, anything other than rental gear will give you away!

Slide of one these bolts into the rental...and you will def have that leg up you need! lol...

Leave your 18" barrel at home...you are scaring the kids!

Dealers and Field Owners!
I set the wholesale price breaks up on this bolt so you can make some good cheddar on them, or so you can upgrade your rental fleet without breaking the bank. Contact me today to find out what we can do.
Not a dealer yet? No problem! Contact me to get setup!

I'm curious if it would be helpful for a Tippmann TMC. They're pretty dependable. But, I'm always looking for a little more insurance against chops.

awesome design! I'm surprised a sprung bolt stop product hasn't been made for Tippmanns before. I think I may have seen a similar product for an autococker bolt where a spring prevents the bolt from going any further past a half fed paintball.

Curious how this can be patent pending when the JAM bolts did this... what, 15 years ago? I'm not hating, but it's not a new idea by any means.

And didn't those suffer from lag when the spring weakened ?
