If you want the full “milsim” experience go with the tried and true heavy *** tippmann a5 all decked out with holo sights and lights and slings.

That will be TFX

Great gun, and I love mine, but its price tag isn't exactly entry-level, and continuous-feed magazines are still months away.

For now I'd agree that the TMC is the best inexpensive pick, especially if you get the bottomline tank version and remove the stock.

TMC is a great option but honestly there is nothing wrong w 12 round Tippmann mags, have a look at the TCR as well.

I would check out the Tippmann Stormer Elite. I've never used one but it seems to receive positive ratings and the price can't be beat (under $200) plus uses TMC mags. Downsides would be not first strike ready.

Good overview from Paintball Ruined My Life:

EMF100 (formerly MG100) is first strike ready but you're looking at close to $500 I would say that is not an entry level price.

Valken M17 @ $250 is also first strike ready but magazines are expensive and not the best.

Honestly, for the price the Tippmann Stormer Elite is pretty nice in our opinion! In stock at Punisher's PB!

If you want an entry-level marker I would recommend the Tippmann Stormer. If you want the best then I would recommend the EMF100. I have one myself and I must admit it's pretty awesome.
