I like the variety of leagues personally. I think it gives everyone a chance to see what they like more. It doesn't bother me much. I just want to play paintball.

I heard Nashville won't happen. But I honestly don't know. I just find it very odd that the PSP is staying so quiet if Nashville is really going to take place.

To everyone that wasn't around, that actually did happen with the NPPL in the 90's. Funny thing, I think Tom Cole was president of the league back then.

I think I remember reading Chris Raehl posted something about how PSP just invested hundreds of thousands on a new air system for this year. Stuff like that adds up I suppose.

The compressors and webcast equipment alone is worth a few hundred grand if I'm not mistaken.

It really isn't a bad idea for PSP to cash out while their league is still worth something, rather than wasting a ton of money fighting NXL then losing it all.

But does it really impact regular divisional teams? Personally, our group is still going to play the same regional events as before; and regardless of which organization has the 'World Cup' maybe we'll get there as well.

I'm just hoping that there is an event in the upper midwest closer to us, as Chicago was a 12-14 hour drive total and was the closest event. NXL Minneapolis maybe

Hopefully NXL moves towards having associated trade shows, other action or combat sports.

I honestly believe that people forget that PSP stands for Paintball Sports Promotions. They are promoters, no different than concert organizers or event planners. If someone offered straight cash for a business that's potentially in trouble and no guaranteed repeat business, I can see no reason why you wouldn't take it.
