Angel SB O Ring Sizes

Hey guys,

I'm new to Angels, just snagged an SB. Gun is great looking, airs up, shoots well too. I'm in the process of tearing it down, I'd like to know the O-ring sizes but it seems to be some big mystery no matter who I talk to or search. I stock a ton of o rings, but not many metric. I don't want to buy some small o ring kit from someone, I just need a master list / size chart for the SB and I'll be all set.

Thanks!

Best as I can recall, all the seals not listed in the Grease and Lube card are seals that are not intended to be user serviceable in the first place. The only seals you really need to be worried about replacing on a semi-regular basis are the LPR, mini-reg and ram o-rings. All sizes are imperial standard, except where mm measurements are noted.

You can find the LPR o-ring sizes and diagrams on pages 21-25. They are:

LPR spool o-ring (large) - 015 (NBR 70)
LPR spool o-ring (small) - 013 (NBR 70)
LPR body o-ring (internal) - 5.0 x 1.5 mm (NBR 70)
LPR piston o-ring - 015 (NBR 70)
LPR body plug o-ring - 015 (NBR 70)

You can find the mini-reg o-ring sizes and diagrams on pages 26-27. They are:

Mini-reg insert body o-rings - 015 (NBR 70)
Mini-reg large piston o-ring (large) - 012 (PU 70)
Mini-reg large piston o-ring (small) - 006 (PU 70)
Mini-reg small piston o-ring - 006 (PU 70)
Mini-reg housing end cap o-ring - 015 (NBR 70)

Note that the mini-reg pistons use polyurethane o-rings from the factory, but a lot of people like to replace them with regular NBR as the PU turns to a jelly-like substance when it goes bad.

You can find the ram o-ring sizes and diagrams on pages 29-30. They are:

Ram body o-rings - 015 (NBR 70)
Ram adjuster o-ring - 8.1 x 1.5 mm (NBR 70) *edit* Ignore this, the SB ram does not have the cam adjuster
Ram piston o-ring (front) - 5 x 2 mm (NBR 70)
Ram piston o-ring (rear, not user serviceable) - 8.1 x 1.5 mm (NBR 70)
Ram piston bumper o-ring (not user serviceable) - 006 (PU 90)
Front ram guide o-ring (not user serviceable) - 13 x 1.5 mm (NBR 70)

Very rarely, you may also need to replace valve seals. You can find the valve o-ring sizes and diagrams on page 12. They are:

Valve body o-ring (front) - 12 x 1.5 mm (NBR 70)
Valve body o-ring (rear) - 015 (NBR 70)

I believe the only accessible o-rings not listed are the volume chamber maintenance plug and volume chamber end plug sizes. Those should need replacement very, very rarely, but I'm sure you could match them up if/when the time comes.

If you'd rather buy a pre-packaged o-ring kit, they are also available here: http://www.angelpaintballparts.com/o...kits/oringkits

I appreciate it. I have most of these o-rings in stock so that helps. I guess I was skimming through the manual fast and wasn't noticing it all

Ahh, there was your problem. None of those are in the manual. They're in a separate document, the Grease and Lube Card. You can download it in this thread: https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=4056082
