Ok, so i was at our local pawn shop and was hopping there was an electronic hopper there. I walked in and BAM!!! there it was, the Quantum VL hopper, all clear and the only electronic hopper. i wonder why...so i bought it for $15 and took it home and filled it with paint, man it looks cool with different colors of paint in it, but thats about all its good for...i turned it on and it has that annoying buzzing noise, and it feed like crap! i should have known...

Appearance: 1 star. Don't let it's appearance fool you. This hopper may look good but it definetly is NOT.

Performance: Hm...let me think oh a 0-1 star. This thing feeds slower than a gravity fed hopper. Don't waist your money on this, get a gravity feed or a Proto Primo that feeds 8+ BPS. This feeds about 0-3 BPS, why zero you ask? Cuz for like 3 seconds you can wait for paint to reach your marker, sometimes more.

Reliability: 5 star. You can definetly rely on this hopper to be the slowest hopper ever. You can ALWAYS rely on this hopper NOT getting paint to your marker. If you are relying on this hopper to feed fast then it would be a 1 star or zero if you it was a choice.

Value: 0-1 star. This is only worth as much as someone would pay for it. Me personally would rather never see a hopper like this again.

Pros: Holds paint. Clear verson looks cool with paint in it.

Cons: Hm...EVERYTHING!!! Feeds like 0-3 BPS.

Rotor, Empire b, and all other hoppers including Gravity fed 1, Quantum -1.

DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!
Gravity fed is better than this even though the other is electic. Save up for a Rotor, Halo, or some other GOOD electic hopper.

This hopper was made for a person like me who thought "I what a cheap electronic hopper, I'll buy the Quantom. There all the same right?" Well, I got it. I used it for the first time at a target range and I thought to myself "Hmmm not that bad" then I used it in a speedball game. Simply put, if you buy this hopper, ur wasting ur money.

BUY A REVVY or at least something that isnt on 24/7 spinning. Seriously, what was viewloader thinking?????? what is the only good thing they make?? Loaders! idk what they thought of. A revvy is 10X faster. If you have one of these. pm me and i can tell you how to mod them with a bobby pin, hair tie,and some tap/paint. I bought one to break in my mini because i sold my last electric hopper with my ion. and it sucks. now it spits the actual 8 bps as advertised. get a revvy or egg. trust me.

not reccomended

Pros: Cost - Looks - Works - Light
Cons: Noisy - Breaks Easy - Kind of Slow
Looks - Appearance
I got this in the clear version which I dont think looks to bad. In my opion it looks like a little egg (Not The Hopper). Looks arnt bad but could be better, not like you can expect much since it costs so little.

Weight - Performance
Overall this is a really light hopper, but it dosnt have many electronics or a strong shell. It only uses one 9V so overall this thing is small and light.

Speed - Performance
Kind of slow but it is suposed to be sold to the begginers and people with mechanical guns like some Autocockers, Spyders, and Tippmanns. No extra modes, just on and off.

Maintainence - Reliability
It is easy the dissassemble the hopper and the electronics are straight-forward so that is not a problem. The battery life is actually pretty good long as you dont leave it on (Which is hard). The biggest complaint of the loader is how loud it is. Once on it has a constant buzzing noise from the tail that feeds the paintballs and there are no very easy modifications to prevent this.

Strength - Reliability
In most the places it is pretty strong but I found the sides get cracked some what easier, not to much a problem if you treat it normally, just dont abuse it.

Bang4Buck - Value
If you can find one of these for like $5 then go ahead and get it just to screw around with or if you need it just incase. In most cases though its not worth it.

Disclaimer - Please Read
I take time on my reviews to make them honest and non-bias as possible, on most occasions I will spell check them and revise to. The point is I take a lot of time on this and do appreciate good ratings, or bad ratings if you feel it deserves it. Before rating please read the full review and base your ratings on my review and not the gear and my opinions on it, if you do I have no control over that but please do it just to be nice. my teammates mother decided to buy this for her son thinking it would be an upgrade over his egg II

The idea is simple .... its basically a agitated loader without eyes or a paddle on/off

The problem with the design though is that it seems the "tail" actually pushes balls AWAY from the raceway (which is located at the front of the marker instead of the lowest point (the middle)

It is, however, a small loader for a cheap price ... and i could find myself justifying the purchase for a new player who wants an agitated hopper

Though im sure there is a market for this thing (being that its for sale at walmart) one would be much better off purchasing the tried and true revolution hopper which is made by the same company: viewloader

Cons: in review
Ok i got this about 3 years ago, i used it for 2 months then went back to a regular gravity fed. This thing is extremely annoying, has a really slow bps rate, won't shut up, this thing doesnt even work as a gravity fed i tried taking the motor and impeller out it sucked. If you want a cheap electric hopper i'd personally recomend a revy, between this and a gravity i'd take the gravity to tell the truth. I don't like it at all but if you really have to get it go for it.

The quantam is probably one of the worst hoppers I've ever used. I do NOT reccomend you purchase one.

Performance:
-Extremely slow. I don't know what mine fed because I had to shake it to get the balls to move down the oddly shaped neck. The overall shape of the hopper didn't allow it to hold very many balls either.

Durability:
-Very cheap and brittle plastic, I broke mine after using it twice.

Just stay away from this loader, it isn't worth the time or money.
