The VL Eye Force is a force feed loader that has an on gun feed rate of 20bps and unlike the VL Force loader, it does not remain feeding as long as the loader is on. The Eye Force uses an IR eye to detect paint in the feedneck.
REALLY GOOD HOPPER FOR PRICE . HATE THE SIZE ITS VERY FAT BUT LOVE THE FACT WORKS UP TO A HALO AND ITS HALF THE PRICE

The loader performs flawlessly for me so far. The IR eye works well. I havent experienced any jams that I could detect. It does have an antijam feature. I currently use this hopper on my Sp-1 and thats capped at 11bps. I performed my own bps feedrate test on this hopper and I unloaded a hopper full (200 paintballs) in 8 seconds. Now this was just emptying the paint back into the box and not attached to the marker. Construction seems pretty solid. Only cons for me is the size. Its a little bulky and to change the batteries you need to take the hopper apart with a screwdriver. This is both good and bad. No battery door to lose or pop open but a hassle to take apart if your in a rush to get fresh batteries in. I would rate this hopper a 8.5 out of 10. Great value for the performance.

Batteries harder to get to when compared to others
VL rates the Eye Force at 20BPS. I've run my Ion with the stock board at 17BPS in ramping mode and the Eye Force has no problems keeping up. Since our local field only allows semi and no full-auto or ramping, this loader is perfect for me.
I've had no trouble after running thousands of rounds through it. It reliably feeds what ever color paintballs I put into it. I've never had a break in the hopper. And my Ion has never failed to fire because a ball wasn't loaded. So far it's been totally reliable.
The batteries aren't the easiest to get to but it's by no means difficult. Just a few screws is all it takes to remove the hopper from the base and expose the batteries. My batteries last a long time.
For $50 this one can't be beat.

Sweet hopper for its price, its almost at halo speed. It is easy to take the electronics out so you can wash it out real well with water. There is no barrery door which means there is no door to break! It is a con though because its hard to acess. Great hopper.

Good loader for the money. like most VL stuff i've owned since the nineties it is very reliable and pretty well built. and you don't have to worry about where VL will be when/if it breaks.
Mine keeps up fine with my PMR. It's not a Halo, but if you cant afford one this will do well.
