I've read numerous times that our goggles are our most important piece of equipment. That's the truth because without eyes we can't play paintball... can't play paintball well at least... I don't really play paintball well anyway... whatever I still want to keep my eyes!

I got these Dye i5 goggles in Dyecam which I love. The goggles look cool, are comfortable, have a good FOV and have some cool features that I actually use. Specifically the quick adjustable strap in the back and the integrated GoPro mount. The strap is nice because it really does make it easier taking it on and off as well as loosening and tightening the strap with one hand. I never have to take my hand off my marker before a point. I just pull it down and twist the knob to snug it up and I'm ready to go. All with one hand. The GoPro mount is nice. I have my GoPro Hero 5 Sessions attached to it. The camera can be mounted on the left or right side of the goggle system.

I can hear my teammates and they can hear me with these on. Can't ask for more in that department. Hasn't fogged and I've played in 40-80* weather with it. As for the lens system, maybe I'm just retarted but it's not as easy as the video makes it seem. Like I said it might be just me but I don't enjoy changing the lenses. There's these little tabs you have to push and slide and they don't push and slide very easily. Not the end of the world though you get the hang of it. One the little tabs are in place then it's super easy to do the change.

Overall I would buy again. The features and quality were worth the price for me.

Pros: Light weight. Looks good. Great visibility.
Cons: Costly.
Great mask overall, loved the Dye i4. Unfortunately that mask was just a tad bit small for me. Most people have that complaint, but only because they are worried about coverage. We play paintball, we get shot. As long as my eyes are safe, that is the only important thing. The new i5 system is great for all the complainers. Not only is this the best looking mask on the market, it performs the only important function of a mask. Protecting the eyes. Only downside is that it is a little costly for the mask, and for replacement lenses. I would recomend this to anyone.

The i5 takes what worked about the i4 and improves where it lacked. Dye increased the size so that those of us with bigger heads don't have our chin exposed.

The new retention strap is awesome. At first I thought it would be annoying but after wearing it I found it much better than traditional mask straps.

Pros: Same lenses as my I4s
Cons: Cant get strp tight enough
First off I am jaded. I have been a Dye fan boy for years. Grew up watching Dave play and a big fan of his stuff. Bought the I4s years ago and loved them but they just didnt cover the way my Jts did. I ran the I4s on the speed ball field and the Jt in the woods. When the I5 came out I dropped the JT like a bad habit. The I5 is a much bigger mask and I can use the same lenses I had for my I4s. They breathe well and with the Atlas visor I run them rain or shine. Great field of view and cover alot more of my face without being too big.

Complaint that I have are few.
1 No factory visor.
2 Strap needs to be able to go a little smaller
3 not available in Tiger stripe
