I just picked this up to pair with my new DM15. Very happy with it. I was using an old Empire B2 that just needed to be retired.

No tools are required to disassemble. Cleaning is easy. No jams. Only uses 3 batteries, my empire used 6 and wasn't efficient.

Price seems high to me, i remember even expensive hoppers back in the day were only $160 new. Sign of the times i guess.

I have suggested this hopper to friends.

Dye Precision Rotor R2 I've run 8-10k through it so far and haven't had any issues. No jams, still on first set of batteries. Good to go.

Pros: Its a Rotor
Cons: Expensive
I really like this new rotor, You take it from 200 to 26 balls in a snap, then back down just as easy. I do like the audible tone to let you know how much paint you shot, just wish you did not have to manually reset it while playing. Otherwise its a rotor they dont break and are in my opinion indestructible. Only downside is the cost but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Looks cool, feeds fast
Cons: Jams frequently
I love my original rotor, so i was psyched to try the R2. I've used it for 5 days of paintball. It jams a lot. I tried increasing the tension and it jammed. I tried decreasing the tension and it jammed. Many jams will not clear with the shark fin. I'm never going to use mine again, but I'll keep using my old Rotor.

coming from only using halos back in the day, I absolutely could not believe how easy it was to disassemble to R2. Very easy to take apart and put back together and it kept throwing paint into my maker. Great hopper. Only thing that bugs me and its minor, is first the price and second the fact that you have to disassemble everything to put batteries in. Very minor inconvenience though
