I pruchased and Insight when they were first released, and four others guys on my teams also had them. I had problems with mine from day one with horrible bolt stick and pressure spikes. I sent it to Bob Long and when it came back it worked for MAYBE 3 games. Everyone on my team had problems with theirs. We have all sense gotten rid of the insights.
I haven't seen anyone locally buy on recently, so I am unsure if Bob has gotten the kinks out of this marker, but after talking to him, it seemed as if he was aware of the potential problems the Insight was going to have when they were released, so the question thats raised is why release a $1000 + dollar marker with known potential problems ??
On a side note, i stand by the G6R.

Not a reliable gun to have, has constant problems, isn't as efficient as people say and will spend more time broken in your gear bag than on the field. Worst gun I have owned by far, other than the fact that it shoots smooth when its working the gun is horrible.

Alright not trying to bash but I have sent my gun off already once because it does not shoot. It won't register a ball and the board is going crazy says I have 2c eyes one min then it goes to 4c eyes. I'm am really getting pissed off to the point when I want my money back but I really wanna use this gun. Also i sent it off called when it got there talked to Zachary he said it was shooting perfect ok. So I get it and it doesn't shoot at all. Now idk wht to do or say I've always heard good things about bob longs but this is just dropping my good things down. So either I send it off and y'all bob long fix it for real make sure it shoot an functions or hate to say I want my money back.

She shoots ropes out the box and super quite and butter SMOOTH!
WITH a few small twits i get her to 280! Then suddenly she doenst shoot (probably cause im using old marbs (like a year old i think). So i SWITCHED TO the to the new field paint (whitch shot like crap all day but didn't chop for me.
I didnt bring the board manual with me to change settings from semi uncapped to psp mode.
Shot the NG at first in the first game with a standard ninja 45/45 & she felt perfect in my hands!!
Later switched to 70/45 slp ninja (whitch felt like overkill on my feather light NG).
SHOT 3/4 A CASE... shot great all day BUT by the end of the day i noticed she waskicking like a mule because i think she only had a light coating of grease.
All in all ... i will give her a 10/10 after i give her a good helping of grease and figure out how to switch to psp mode!
ROTOR WORKED GREAT ON NG AND FREAK KIT DID A KILLER JOB!
I've had dozens of guns. .. new and old school and this is by far the best & its made in USA!
Next Sunday ill be playing again. ... and ill give yall another update after.

Bob Long Technologies Bob Long Insightgreat shooting marker. cant think of many things to say about it that are negative to e honest. This is a solid marker and shoots absolute ropes.
Love this gun, super reliable and super efficient. Only thing is it needs to lubed, you cannot neglect this gun!

Haven't owned it long, used it twice s far. Mine is a 2014 with all current updates. No issues so far. Doesn't seem as efficient as I expected, possibly not broken in enough or need to lower the dwell. Super smooth shot, consistent and very easy to relube.

This was my first BL gun and the gun I sought out to get when I recently returned to PB after a long time off. The gun was bought locally and had some initial issues when I finally got it up and running. First day out it was pretty cold and I needed to replace the o-rings on the bolt as well as throw on some lube for the lower temps.
After that, I replaced the 2 eyes with the 4 laser eyes as well as the new bolt. After that, it shot perfect and cycled amazing. Like others have stated, it shoots very very smooth. The milling looks very nice and I have a completely black dust finish so it cleans up easy as well.
Overall it's a fantastic gun and just needs some attention to help keep it running smoothly.
