The Viewloader Revolution X is designed for players who want even more out of their hopper. With a feed rate of over 17bps, it can keep up with many of the modern markers of today! With a spring-loaded snap-lid, the 200 round hopper is ideal for use with an AutoCocker or other mechanical tournament marker.

Pros: Cheap, high capacity, reliable feed, good on batts
Cons: Brittle plastic, opens when you don't want it to.
Well, I bought a Revolution X to go with my AutoCocker and Viewloader because I had heard good things about it. The Revolution X works by using break-beam eyes to switch the motor on and agitate the paintballs in the hopper. The hopper is simply an agitated gravity hopper, which allows the feed rate to be approximately 17bps, plenty fast for my Superstock. The feedneck is a little bit brittle, and it snapped during a game. I fixed it with a bit of PVC pipe, so it wasn't too big a deal. Overall, I would recommend this hopper to anyone who wants a good electronic hopper that can keep up with their mechanical paintball marker, and doesn't cost a fortune!

I own two of these. I've gotten rid of other hoppers, but these are my tried and true. I like that you know they'll work. You can leave the batteries in the hopper and it won't kill your batteries even months later. They're still gravity fed loaders however.

Pros: Eyes, Reliable, Price
Cons: Terrible plastic (especially lid)
Got one of these hoppers back in the day when the Halo B was thought to be the best loader ever.

Appearance: I'll give the revy three stars here because it looks like your average hopper. It could look "cooler" and/or have a lower profile design to gain the extra stars.

Performance: This hopper really does preform half-way descent, it is obviously no where near the fastest hopper on the market, but it will keep up with most guns on semi auto. I never had a chop/break from the hopper, but then again this could have been because I was 12 at the time and could not afford enough paint to lane like crazy. It could be faster, but is a great hopper for starters.

Reliability: If you get one of these hoppers the engine and eyes will not let you down. The problem with the hopper is it is made out of cheap plastic. My friend was messing around with mine and the lid cracked off . Another friend of mine was playing and experienced the exact same problem. This is not a big deal to some people, as you can just throw a speed-feed on the hopper. I never had any of the other plastic parts break so four stars for reliability.

Value: For $40 this hopper is not terrible and I have had much worse experiences with hoppers in this price range then having the lid crack off. All in all I would say this is a great entry level hopper to anyone just getting into paintball, as I can imagine they can be picked up extremely cheap now.

I would recommend this hopper to entry level players using semi-auto spyders, tippmanns, etc., not so much to higher level players (which is kind of obvious if your a higher level player lol)

I've had the same Revvy for 8+ years and it's been used probably 100 times and it never disappoints. I can always count on it to just do work. She's a beast. It is ugly and bulky, but it can take a beating and just continue to feed balls. It only feeds about 15bps, but I don't shoot more than that anyway.
