Paintball VillageIts not a bad field if you want to just walk on and have a friendly day of shootyball.
Then again, I've not played here in years, so this review might not be the most accurate thing in the world.

I grew up saving my lunch money to be able to afford a case of paint at PBV.
Now I'm all groweded up and decided to try it out again. Low and behold the place has not changed other than losing the Airball field, target range, vending machines, and umbrellas. Had to walk to the main building to find a bathroom and a drink.
The one field they do have can be fun for a little while but after a few weekends it tends to get old. The turnout is hit and miss.. sometimes there will be a decent group of players, other times it will be birthday parties and church groups full of kids who are terrified to even be out there.
For the price however it is hard to beat. A season pass on groupon is around $40 and that gets you unlimited entries/all day air and $5 off a case of paint. Go there a handful of times and it's worth it.
Anyways, worth checking out if youre local - but you could leave disappointed if you are driving multiple hours to get here.

This is my primary field because its so close. The field is small and quick allowing you to get a ton of games in. Proshop leaves something to be desired. They have air, rental equipment and batteries but that's about it.
Overall, they have descent prices and good refs. Give it a try.

Paintball VillageI think this field is great for beginners. Its a little pricey, but its a great way to find your bearings in the scenario or speedball course.

Great place for anyone looking to take some new players out of any age. The staff can be biased at times when picking teams but it's still fun. At times the place will have 60+ people there and the refs put them all on the field, which gets very cluttered and becomes little to no reffing. Still the perfect place to take people to for some fun!
Paint prices vary sometimes it's $47 and other times it's $65+ for a case (2000) (Usually Empire/RPS Heat paint)
If you plan on going a lot then buy a season pass. It will save you about $20 every time and you won't have to pay admission or all day air when you go. Just paint (which is discounted with the pass)
On most days you will likely just play normal Team VS Team but if you get good ref's they will change it up by playing capture the flag and President through out the day.
================================================== ======
Pros:
Rental equipment is decent and newer.
Rules enforced.
Always busy on Saturdays.
Food, Drinks, and Bathrooms near by.
Wide range of new and experienced players.
Sitting area for prep.
Walk way around the field, allowing family and friends to watch you play.
================================================== ======
Cons:
Biased at times when making teams.
Some ref's and employees have attitudes against players with their own gear.
30 v 30 at times (Cluttered field too many people)
Ref's don't actually ref most of the games, they just sit at the gate talking to friends.
When field is wet...don't plan on diving or sliding.

I've been playing at this field since 2009 and overall it is a great place to take any new or experienced player to have some fun. Don't expect anything to serious but the place is still a blast! The pricing is okay and there's other activities around the park for people you may bring who don't want to play paintball. Check it out!
