New Quake rifled barrel from Planet

New Quake rifled barrel from Planet

The new Quake barrel has a threated front and comes with a short tip. However, a longer Planet Eclipse front can (reverse) thread right on. I spoke to Jack Wood and asked point-blank: "Does the rifling on the Carmatech barrel do anything?" Jack replied, "Absolutely 100% does with FSR! It's the only rifling that fully pre-spins the round, like a real bullet, before it exits the barrel. Does it affect the distance? Accuracy? Jack: "Should be both..."

Continuous Feed Mag - EMG100

Continuous Feed Mag - EMG100

Planet Eclipse is showing off a continuous feed 20 round magazine they are working on for the EMG100. This isn't in production yet but you can see it here at Paintball Extravaganza. The bottom dial will be black for production. There are even markings on the magazine to let you know how many rounds are left in the mag. These will come with the Planet Eclipse followers that don't allow the marker to fire after the magazine is empty. We don't know when they will ship though.

New JT Pants at Extravaganza

New JT Pants at Extravaganza

JT Paintball has some new paintball pants that I am not sure how to classify. Are these joggers? Not really. I wouldn't personally play in them. Are they sweatpants? That's probably a more accurate description.

They have some sweet decoration down the side that looks like throwback JT goggle straps though.

NXL Las Vegas 2020 Layout

NXL Las Vegas 2020 Layout

The National Xball League (NXL) Las Vegas layout just dropped! Who else is excited to see this play out? It looks like a traditional snake and dorito side layout with some big risk vs reward down the snake as players decide how aggressive they want to be on that side. Will this layout be aggressive enough to keep play exciting through Sunday? How far will players be able to get off the break consistantly?

DLX Luxe X - Tribute markers

DLX Luxe X - Tribute markers

DLX is showing off their Spring collection of special anodized Luxe X markers as well as some special tribute markers depicting soldiers here in Memphis at Paintball Extravaganza. One side of the tribute guns has the iconic image of soldiers raising the flag on Iwo Jima while the other side has more modern soldiers. These are available in several dark camos. The Spring Collection is much brighter and even features an American flag marker.

New Bunkerking products

New Bunkerking products

Bunkerking is showing off two new CMD goggle colors as well as at least two colors in new joggers, their new pods and a whole host of new colors in their new collapsable goggle bag. Bunkerking is part of Virtue and in the Virtue booth.

Jason Edwards also has a sweet shoulder bag/oversized fanny pack that is clearly not a purse he'd love to show you.

New Dye Autococker Parts

New Dye Autococker Parts

I spoke to Billy Wing and he thinks this may be the fastest switching 3-way ever in paintball. He says do to the oval hole under the barb and due to the and the thicker 3-way stem having less volume to fill, it actuates faster. I believe some of these parts will come on the upcoming Freeflow Caliber, so I'm looking forward to seeing them in action.

Is one step closer to a Dye Autococker?

New Exalt Wood Grips

New Exalt Wood Grips

Exalt debuted their new wood grips here at Paintball Extravaganza. Available in a couple colors, these are a great addition to classic paintball guns. I already tried out the fit on SFL's, old BBT guns, Freeflows, Evolutions, CCM''s, Benchmark frames, Dye Autococker frames and more.

Sadly, they did not fit Inception markers.

Planet Eclipse LV 1.6

Planet Eclipse LV 1.6

The old Rivalry is back! We basically wanted to revive two of our most legendary platforms and bring back the Ego versus Geo battle. We are aware that most of our current line-up is now Gamma and GP Core based, but we know from what players have been saying over the past year or so that there is still a lot of love for our more traditional platforms, predominantly the LV/Ego/poppet layout, and the last iteration of the Geo, the Geo3.5 with the IV Core.
