AkArmy plays in the PSP
AkArmy plays in the APPA D4 division
the only way you can do the psp cap is if boards and chips were made for all the guns, and if the companys would come out to the tournament, the uncapped ramping is the best solution to battle "cheater" guns

Attention!!! this is for all teams entering the Ultimate Paintball USA Series on June 18th. The gun rules have been changed due to saftey concerns. The Rule for all guns will be Capped Ramp at 15 or PSP mode OR uncapped Semi. Guns will be closely monitered for excesive bounce and ramping markers exceeding the 15 bps limit. To clarify, your markers will be checked before the game and at the reffs discression. If your gun is in a true semi mode your bps is uncapped. If your marker is in a ramping/PSP mode your marker must be capped at 15.

No special series ID cards are required. However, Photo ID is, and sandbagging will be strickly enforced.

we will be checking your ID for obvious reason. Sandbagging peneltys will be a DQ for your team. Rookie teams are allowed one novice level player, again that is any divison 3 team(rookie) is allowed one divison 2 player(novice). there are still spots availible but sign up now at www.ultimatepaintballusa.com

40 teams is a crap load of teams for the prize to only be $3k. That is getting to be a NPPL sized Div 3. Yes, the entrance fee to NPPL is a lot more, but the quality of their tourneys is second to none from what I have seen. This event sounds a bit over the top, so here are some questions I would like clarified so that I know my team and other teams paying an entrance fee are getting their money's worth:

1. What kind of paint, as in what could it be compared to quality wise? Dont say its tournament grade paint and give us anything less than Chronic, Ultra Evil, or Inferno quality paint.

2. How many refs will be on each field?

3. How many fields will be used?

4. Does the entrance fee encompass everything? Air included?

5. Is the $50,000 sponsorship a paint sponsorship?

6. Is the $50,000 value of the sponsorship retail or ACTUAL value?

7. What other events have you thrown in the past?

8. Have you thrown an event of this caliber before, and if so, link to any reviews please .

Well, I think that addresses most of the concerns people will have. I would appreciate a response to these questions as I feel these should have been addressed in the first post. Thanks.

My only question is what are you using to rate a player a rookie?? XPSL, PSP, and NPPL all use different standards. You could be an AM player in the XPSL but stil be unrated in the NPPL. You could have played DIV 2 NPPL for 3 years, and still play as a DIV 3 player in the PSP. Please clarifiy your rating standards.

Someone on another thread stated what was basically this series is creating their own classifications based on variations of the other circuits rules. That alone make sit seem like a good event to sandbag.
