iv always had my eye on an epic.. might end up getting one some day..
but, i think you might need to get your information straightened out..
..pressure used to open the trap door is 3 psi and it takes 6 psi to chop a ball.
i think you mean LB, not PSI. psi means nothing unless you know the area its pushing on.
It is the same speed as a shocker (9 bps).
Most all shockers are capped at 11.25bps.
the bolt has nothing to do with actually propelling the ball out. sure, some might give it a push, but this is nothing compaired to propelling air. afterall, cockers dont move the bolt forward when they fire... the Epic is inefficent probably due to the design of the spool valve. alsmost all spool driven markers are not very good on gas (mayhem, shocker, epic, matrix..).
