I was wanting to hear from as many of you out there about your opinions, pros and cons between your knowledge or experiences with both rifled and smooth bore barrels. Which do you think it better......chopped balls.....anything would be helpful. Thanks all.

the only rifled barrel ive had was the armson.. i found it to be very annoying. the shoot fine (no diff than a smooth bore) but when you break a ball is VERY difficult to get them cleaned out.. the rifling makes it so the squegie dose not clean all the barrel and the only way to get it all out is take it off and run water/soap thru it. smooth bore shoot the same and are a brease to clean if you do get a break.

Skill doesn't require batteries.

ya my friend has one on his mag. when he chopped, the only way to get the paint out completely was to go to a sink and, that rifling didn't do anything special either. there is also the Smart Parts rifling, which uses air. This is used on the All American, which is one of the best barrels on the market.

Moe and Chalex, he isn't asking what barrel is good. And you didn't even back up your statements.

Anyways, I've shot both barrel types, and haven't noticed a difference.
Just back into the sport after being out of it for five how things have changed
