Yeah The Tourny was alright but i do have some complaints, the paint broke in one game for me, the reffing was amazing thank god. but id say the finals were all bull****, my team(NY OverKill) placed 2nd in prelims and had to play all the finals in the dark and was very unfair and lost to teams we deffintley would have beat in the light. Id say a lot of teams got screwed over and many teams will agree with me.

THANKS
NY OVERKILL

I have to agree with MadeInTheUSA that it was disappointing that the tournament was so far behind that the finals were in the dark. As well, it was strange that the D1 5-Man finals were on the 7-Man field which slowed down things further and made those games strange. Hopefully the problems with the paint can be worked out and a little grass grown on the fields so the front players don't have to eat a pound of dirt again.

best GPL i have been too.. 1 problem i noticed.. on the nppl field for 7man the 30brick was even with the small dorito on one side, and then 10ft infront of the small dorito on the other side...

not cool, but i dont think it made an effect on our playing

i dont see how a team can get screwed by playing in the dark. unless one team can see in the dark for some reason, and one can't. i think people forget that no one can see each other anyway, including the refs

A team can get "screwed" playing in the dark because it removes most of the skill from the contest.

Nobody can see anything, so the match outcome is a matter of blind (literally) luck.

Even if you were far and away the best team going in, you could conceivably lose a game or games that you ordinarily wouldn't.
