Ya I'd get the solenoid replaced.....and maybe get an ASA adaptor so you can put another reg of your choice on the gun at a later time. The one you're looking at will probably have the beehive reg on it.....which some people love.....and some people hate. If you end up hating it...you'll need an ASA adaptor to put a new reg on.
if it is second gen then he must mean that it has the new solenoid, i have number 275 i think any number lower then that came with the old solenoid. as for the volumizers, there really isnt much you can do with those, pitch em if you dont likte lookin at em. if you want to get a new reg thats up to you, run the behive for awhile before you make the decision, other than thata new bolt and rubber grips are all i can reccomend, either dye LED stickies, or the stock ones that TMC sells, get those pweter ones off though, youll notice your gun get signifigantly lighter, and alot more comfortable to hold.
