Props to the Refs in Easley!

I would just like to throw up some props to the refs at Easley, it was much much better than in Atlanta. Ya'll were completely on top of the 15 cap rule, and that was outstanding in my opinion.

Only beef I have is the field to the left of the chrono had hand-helds that were reading about 50fps off from the chronos at the chrono station.

But the outstanding refereeing kept the bull to a minimum, letting us play, and proved my team really doesnt suck like the scoreboard from Atlanta says. Thanks again guys.

Chris aka Phat Playa of the WF Marines.

I didn't play, but from what I saw they were doing a great job of enforcing the cap...they just need to work a little more on being able to figure out what's a hit and what's not...

It's always a referee roulette. It's just part of the game. In a perfect world everyone would ref by the principle of the Golden Rule and we would all call 30 perfect games a tourney. But there is always confusion and attitude and error. It's part of the game like getting squirted with old paint on the ground when walking the fields. Noone ever calls a game in your "favor". If you win, they were just doing their job, if you lose they suck. If I ever get sick of it I will quit playing tourneys....or just make an angry about the reffing post on a message board.

nah dude, every one knows running wild cheats, but then again what team doesnt, its part of the game, if you say it isnt then you need to reconsider playing tournaments.

I have reffed before, but wasn't at this tournement. I know how everyone wants to win.

The Warriors will be running the "Play like a Pro" program on Saturday and reffing on Sunday in China Grove.

didnt play, but i was impressed they checked guns and called them with the timers and ****, but feild 2 and 3 had THE worst reffing i have ever seen. i dont know if it was just unlucky calls, but it was just terrible ...we had a guy called on a hit that wasnt there, the refs wiped players saying theyd been shot by dead guys when the guy that got wiped was out first ... it wasnt good. but none the less, i had alot of fun and was impressed by the 15 bps enforcing.

if that happens, you just grab the cone its supposed to be on, if they got it on a bunker just grab in the area its supposed to be, and be sure to always check its hung before the game starts

ya my gun shot 285-290 over the red chronos and then they chronod me and i was shooting 325...i thought it was quite odd...im pretty sure there hand helds were off or dead batteries cause my teammate was shooting 315 on the hand held and we didnt have the 3mm but a 4mm and he kinda tried to adjust it but it didnt move and they rechronod him and he was shooting 295 but didnt adjust? but thats a chrono problem not a ref prob...

i give refs props they did good...

Agree with you there. Most of the refs on 2 were ok. But I dont know who the head ref is or was, but he needs to go back to the ref school.

Field 3 sucked *** until Ken left. He was very biased in his reffing. I personally saw and heard him yell at a team about something that happened last event. WTF is up with that? He also let a team start a game with guns facing toward the field with players breaking the out of bounds plain, (dead box). How is a team suposed to have a chance to shoot you back, when the ref says go and there is already paint heading your way before you even pull your guns off the board?

On a better note. The rest of the event was good. Thank goodness this one was better than last. I knew Larry would get it right this time. See all ya'll in China Grove.

Thanks refs

Reffing was very consistant.

Teams were strait up and we didn't have any issues all day. I seen some people take a hit that stayed in a little longer than they should of but I never saw anyone getting rid of hits. Props to the refs.

See yall at the next one.
