Exclamation whats wrong with my rebel deluxe

some thing is screwede up in my rebel deluxe and here ois teh details that i can give you

i jsut recently played with it and it keeps getting worse and worse each time i use it, and i have no idea why. Last time i played i broke a ball every other shot so i would thehalf to take it apart clean it all out and then about 10sots later it would break another ball. And you can't tell me that i don't clean out my gun at all because i put hours into prepartion before we play and when it is finally time to use it, it just craps out on me. Twice i had balls break and go into my hopper and wasting a bunch of paintballs like almost 300 out of 500 then sometimes when i shot the paint would come flying out my power feed and go about a foot in the air, sure it was a sight to watch but it just plain old sux. I even had my volecity as low as it could go and yet it still crapped out on me.

let me see here....your the kid who asked how to get his velocity up real high. you also said you had already stretched your spring.

doing that will make it harder which will make it hit the ball a lot harder/faster. therefore making you chop paint.

go to a REAL field and chrono your gun. guessing by your name you probably play in the woods with your friends and no chrono.

clip a coil or two off your mainspring. no more than 3 or you may be screwed.

get a revolution
go low pressure

btw. you posted a review on the rebel deluxe over at pbreview with this exact same post. please delete that as i have just told you how to fix your problem.

no prob. by the way, i forgot to tell you the thing you should do first and foremost. GET A SPRING KIT. you can substantially lower velocity by putting in a weak mainspring and a strong valve spring.

what have you done to your rebel?

BLACK REBEL DELUXE:

1) smart parts all american stainless steel 14" two piece barrel
2) lazy z drop forward (paintball inc. drop forward, they are the same thing)
3) brass eagle point dot sight
4) drilled VA to 4/16 and 3/16
5) put screw in front of velocity adjuster to give the gun more velocity until i get a spring kit
6) BR machine high flow teflon bolt (no orings/no kick)
7) BR machine high flow gas valve
8) in the process of doing a trigger job but have not finished completely

coming soon:

1) 32 degrees or madman spring kit
2) bob long torpedo regulator chrome or black (havn't decided what do you think i should get?)
3) e frame whenever they come out

btw: i got your pm a couple days ago, but i had to get off the internet right when i got it and i havn't been online until now.

my sp aa 14" 2 piece is chrome on the back part, and black on the front part. (the part touching the gun is the back). but mine is a stainless steel so it doesn't unscrew in the middle.

keep in mind, the chrome torpedo cost 10 bucks more than black. but then again chrome will probably look better.

help me pick!

I will tell you what is wrong with you gun, it SUCKS! I have a rebel limited edition and it chops paint everytime i used it. That is when i got sick of it and got a gun with an anti chop eye . ( Bob Long Intimidator)... it is awesome, if you are gettingn serious about this sport and dont want it to be a pain constantly, get a nice gun, so it costs a little more, but instead of spending the money to fix crappy gun, use money to buy good gun ... beleive you will have much more fun. I dont know if anyone will read this in the next century because nobody come on these forums, so good luck

Hmmmm, I don't know if it's just me, but would anyone else think to check that you have good paint before modding your springs any more?? Please don't tell me you shoot BE paint or viewloader (same thing, different name) paint.......
