for 650, you can get a nice Akalmp Viking. Preformance of the Excal, but since it's opened bolt, able to cycle faster than the Excal. And its half the price.

YES

You will have to shoot yourself if you only get a marker under 600 bucks.

save 50 dollars more for a viking.

It's probably better quality than anything in its range...

The only negative about the gun is supposedly the trigger, otherwise the gun is superior.

If you spend more than 600, a Shocker. Low pressure means it can fire very brittle paint. brittle paint will break more often on long shots from the back.

But since you said UNDER 600, an Impulse is pretty good.

timmy all the way

i was in the same situation as you about 3 months ago.... i looked at em all...(fortunately the guys @ the field were kind enough to let me play a round or two with their guns...which is something i highly reccomend) i got my hands on just about everything except PGI and AKA markers and an IR3, but i got my hands on just about everything else, cockers, sandridge cockers, dark angels, mags, smart parts, even one very sweet e-tippman that used a tribal board(that thing was crazy fast)

me being a back player i wanted something to throw an obscene amount of paint down and do it consistently and when i got my hands on this timmy it was like a gift from god....

theyre a lil taller than most markers but if you play back it shouldnt matter much

as far as low pressure goes......well....its no shocker but with a good inline reg it can go plenty low enough to shoot the brittle paint...and if you want to go back to high pressure....10 minutes and a trip to the chrono....and youre runnin HP
