Angel Lcd Battery Help!!!!!!!!!!

I have an Angel LCD and the battery no longer holds a full charge, so I am forced to replce the battery. If someone could answer some questions, I would greatly appreciate it.

1. What type is the best battery (comes stock w/ a metal hydride battery)?

2. Is the "Nickel" Metal Hydride Battery the same as the stock Metal Hydride Battery?

3. If it's not, who sells a charger for a Nickel Metal Hydride Battery?

4. All in all what do you Angel gurus think I should do, what battery, what brand, where to purchase (buying a new charger is fine, I just want the best). Hell the best gun deserves no less.

I'll tell you guys something, going from a Tournament Level Automag to an Angel LCD, is like going from a Splatmaster or PGP to an Autococker. (Did I just date myself????)

Just got back into the game, when I left my gun was top dog, but now obviously the Angel is. But even w/ over a decade of actual play time, I don't want to just throw anything in this marker. Hell these are not cheap.

Once again thanks guys in advance.

PS: This is my first post, nice being here!

no reall difference

on lasts longer.
i think the metal hrdide lasts longer then the nickle
one thing though... you can mix and charge them at the same time.

do you have a LCD board?
or a aftermarket board?

the lcd board battery is different then the lets say a pred.
the pred takes 9volts
and the lcd stock board has its own battery
take a look at the web sites located on top of www.angelowers.com
on one of those sites you will find a Lcd board rechargeable battery. but thats only if you have the stock board or a board that cant take regular 9V batteries

It has a stock LCD board in it, it doesn't take 9volt batteries. Thank you, I will check out the site.

Possible Modifications to Angel LCD???

I own an Angel LCD serial# 13079.

What possible mods can I do? I already have the Metal Hydride Battery, 16" DYE Broomstick, electric hooper w/ the conversion kit for it to run off the markers battery.

What about converstion kits like the Fly conversion, ect.....

What about a good barrel kit, which one do you guys recommend? I would like to by a kit w/ a number of bore sizes and legth option, instead of having just 1 barrel (which I already do). Do you guys recommend a ball sizing gauge.

Call Ken and ask him for information on the Custom SM-1 Orbium Barrel Kit...

It's supposed to be the best kit available for the Angel.

Here is a link on the info: http://angelowners.com/showthread.php?t=39050

That kit gives you EVERYTHING. It is not released with the custom sizes yet but it is worth the wait, give Ken a buzz and he'll help you out. Very nice guy.

This is the best conversion money can buy: http://www.performanceangel.com/info.php .. If you get that your gun will be a BEAST! ( a good beast )

That explains everything.

You are VERY fortunate to be so close to Ken. ANYTHING you need, Ken will help you. He's a really nice guy and is very high in the Angel world.

Hope it helps
