its all BS in 1995 SP comissioned a company called Pnue Ventures to create the shocker. Afterwards, SP sued them for full rights to the patent on the Shocker and ended up putting Pnue Ventures out of business. 8 years later they used a loop hole to expand their patent to include all electro markers and started sueing other companies. Thats pretty much the jist of it.

if you do a little research, a while back, tippman actually made a patent for the cyclone feed system, i think like, 5 years ago? could be wrong. anyways, the way the patent is stated, they have the legal right to sue every company that ever made an electronic loader. but u dont see them doing that, now do u. sp has some good products, but their really just a company full of greedy executive (sp?) bastards. they could have just let these other small companys alone, but no, they have to become a monopoly. now im not saying kill smart parts, just get some new business men in there, and stop killing smaller companies.

aka and icd are small companies and there was no way they could possibly stand a change against sp, they just have too much funds.

and exactly, sp are greedy bastards, before sp everyone in the pb industry was fine with eachother. But now dye is sueing them, so it should be a bit better.

Dye is just as bad as Smart Parts, look at their over priced products and have you ever dealt with their customer service or sent in a gun to be fixed? Expect to drop over a few dollars.. That is coming from a supporter and product owner of both companies.
