Just what I was going to say... You've got an eye for interesting angles and subjects. Try shaking up the composition from just dead center... I bet you'll like the results.

I prefer the second set, Another hint is to watch out for things in the background.
IF You cant do anything about the background but need the shot, turn down your aperture to blur it out, just watch to ensure you dont blur your subject.

lol, I wish I could change settings like that but I am using a consumer 4.1 MP camera. haha.

And the first set was my first day out just shooting because I was sick home from school and needed something to do. The second set I wanted to get some really nice shots and use some of the information you guys gave me. Like off-centering my focus.

OK, you asked someone about a camera, now it's my turn

D-MOTHER****ING-70! 1000 dollars aside, you might consider a digireb (though I think they're crapsauce ) or a dimage a2 or z-whatever. Most of the dimages are good. I wouldn't get a coolpix 8800 or 8700, sounds great with the 8 MP and the lens but the 8 MP are too damn close together and it makes funky color combo stuff.

I was thinking of getting a Canon PowerShot Pro1. It's one step down from a professional camera (from what I have seen) and there is sort of a "psuedo" interchangeable lens system. I really liked the specs on it and it was in my price range (4-600) at about 450 dollars at some places.
