in that thread there were 3 guns being discussed. The infamous timmy is wayy up there, its not even on the same level as the ion.
Then we have the defiant, which is also out of the ion's class, more likely to be competing with the ICD b2k5.
Then we have chris lasoya's gun (not the lasoya timmy,, rumor is that he is making HIS OWN gun.) And this is the one that is supposed to be competing with the ion. But hardly anyone has seen or heard of chris' new gun. But rumor has it that its gonna be around $285.
