Talking If its not a sun board....

clip off the voltage regulator and solder a connection between the outside posts.

If its a new one then you could do it with a relay a bit more soldering.

I'm not responsible for your mistakes.

Solder fast, you wouldn't want to heat up the other components too much. If you goof, you can always get replacement parts from www.dropzonepaintball.com

Have fun!

you can not anylonger, that is what happened when BE took over viewloader, they changed the voltage regulator, that is why a pre-BE loader is like gold nowadays!

Here's my tip about the 12v->18v move. Just don't. There is usually little to no improvement. The 12v was designed to run at a certain speed and changing it does nothing to improve performance.

well it does improve the feed rate if you motor turns faster, my teammate has a pre-brasseagle he changed the voltage reg to a 15v reg and it is far faster feeding than my POS BE 12v!

Talking The voltage mod does make a diff.

Add the impeller mod and you get fast AND consistent feeding.

I am very happy with mine. Its also Intelli controlled so once I get into HROF its spinning 18v with no start-stop that the new gems do.

X-Rev Baby!

I compared a brand new gem (before and after the impeller mod) to my X-Rev. One note... the new revs are very quiet.

Gem (before impeller mod but with bent up paddles) averaged 86-95 balls for 10sec.

Gem (after impeller mod) averaged 105-117 balls for 10sec

X-Rev (with impeller but not using intellifeed commands) averaged 133-149 balls in 10 seconds. Watching it "throw" the last few balls into the feed neck is amazing. It could be something I inadvertently changed....but it spins counter clockwise That made doing the impeller mod a little more work.
