Gun only shoots when pointing down?

ok i played pball today and even though my halos feedneck is in 2 pieces, it still was pretty snug inside the feedneck, so keep that in mind.

when i screwed on the halo and turned the gun on, i was aiming a tree infront of me and the gun wouldnt fire, at first i thought the eye was screwed up, but then i pointed at the ground and the gun fired perfectly. i thought it was something with my broken halo, so i used my backup revvy and played the day without eyes, no problems, my question is...

what caused my gun not to shoot level shots? was it the broken halo? ball detent?

Do you have a ONE and do you have some after market timmy bolt? If so that's your problem. The timmy bolt is abuot 1/8" shorter than the stock bolt and since the halo is a force feed loader, the balls roll back far enough so the eye cant see it. To fix this put another oring on the bac kof the ram, you'll notice on the stock ram there's a oring that kinda acts like a bumper, put another one there to push th bolt forward.

The bolt should show about 1/16-1/8" itself in the breech.

This happened to me the first time i shot my gun too. The reason for is that the feedneck is positioned a little behind the eye so when the ball drops in the eye doesnt see it on eye level. but when u point it down the ball rolls forward in the chamber right in front of the eye and shoots. nothing to do with ur halo. im not sure how to fix that with the eye on but it will definately work without the eye (thats why it worked without eyes not because u were using ur revy) the ball is in the chamber and ready to shoot so if u turn ur eye off it will still work fine but the eye just doesnt see it. i would turn they eye off
