T-board help - Damon, Plz read
Hey, im getting a new solenoid soon and it runs on 7v instead of the 6v on the stock solenoid. I was wondering if anyone (specifically damon) had a schematic for the t-board so that I could figure out what resistor i would need in parallel in order to get the higher voltage. Thanks

its not really spam if it has a reason for being posted. Plus, this isnt the same thing as whats being posted in the other thread. this is more of a special interest type of question, not really a support question. Plus, if i could find the tboard thread i would post in it, but i cant find it, and search isnt working.

It should work. The T-Board (and the stock board) actually send 6.6 volts to the solenoid, so it should be fine. But you may have to increase your dwell slightly.

well, i guess we'll just have to see when i get home from vacation. the noid should be delivered in 2 days, and ill be back from vacation (im in daytona beach rite now, and no, its not for nascar, its for college visits) on saturday, then i just need to mod my frame a little bit more and test it out. btw , thanks splatt and damon for helpin me out.
