a group of like 28 from my high school went to a course today and 3 of them have ariakons 2 have sim 15's and 1 has sim 4 ris elite we played 2 guns and everyone complained howbad there guns hurt and they got the chronograph or whatever and made them shoot all were shooting at 370-395 at medium velocity one turned it all the way up and hit like 437 the field owner made them shorten the spring and turn velocity all the way down i was very impressed

Kamka is right, that's really not safe. You guys are going to shatter the lenses on your goggles sooner or later shooting that fast...

Any marker with a big enough spring can shoot 437, if thats the reason you'd be purchesing an ariakon marker than i feel bad for the people you'll be playing against. Kamaka touched on this, many masks are only approved for play 300fps or under. Your very lucky you friends wern't kicked off the field for shooting that hot. You seriously endanger any and everyone who is on the field with you if you play any higher. Im suprised your friends who were shooting that hot could even hit anything. Paintballs being shoot above 350 are subject to different factors than paintballs being shot at normal speeds (250-300). Hence less accuracy.

Ariakon markers should be purchesed becuase of their realistic milsim looks and their performace values.

Look around www.ariakon.com/ and www.forum.ariakon.com/ . There is much information about ariakon markers and buying your first or another marker. If you dont like what you see than leave, but playing safe and having fun is what paintball is all about. Im sure Ariakon would agree with me on that.

If it's that bad you get a sling... lol I bought one for the sole purpose of use at OK D-Day this year cause I didn't wanna have to carry my SIM-4 all day. But just for individual games it's really not THAT bad.
