crazy inconsistancy
well i was chroning my gun( i reset both my hyper 2 and inline, and i had previously lubed everything before this).i turned my hyper 2 out to try to get it at around 260..and it was all over from like 204 then to 250 then 254, 237 then stayed from around 245-265..i set my lpr cuz i was frustrated..but i was just wonderin what i could do about it.

make sure there is no lube in ur breech , can cause balls to go everywhere, and make it inconsistant,u might have over lubed it or , not enuff,or put it together wrong, double check everything

how old is the reg? sometimes u have to break in a reg a little before it is consistent. could be a lubing issue but sounds reg based to me.

reg should already be broken in.
If you just recently lubed your reg and lpr and didn't dry fire with the barrel off, it's possible that lube got into your barrel.
There are tons of factors affecting velocity. Make sure all the orings on your bolt are lubed and are in good order, same with reg and lpr

the techs at my store say breaking a reg in is a myth, i believe them after all the regs i have used, all 2 of them (gen x-2 and hyper2) they have been +-2 or 4 on my first use

Ya, same here, just goin on what the manual says. It just says that the Hyper 2 will need a break-in period of like 2500 shots to let the seat form to the piston and such.
