As title says. Who, and for how long?
Ed Poorman is owner and also played on the original Avalanche team. He is also owner of Warped Sportz.
After the original team broke up, Ed brought in some of the players from Warped Kids straight from their World Cup win. Those players were Aaron Morris, Tony Perez, Jingle, and Chris Grimsley. He still had three of the original players who were himself, Shawn Ellis, and Weasel. He also brought in Glen Forrester to coach and play. (Glen was Warped Kids coach)
The mix didn't work well and the team ended in 7th place.
When the Kapp team was brought in, Aaron and Tony had to prove themselves for a spot on the new team and both made it. Aaron eventually left due to school schedules but may be back this year.
So, to answer your question, the owner, Ed Poorman has obviously been with the team the longest.
Tony Perez is next and starting his 3rd year on Avalanche.
Tony is also the VP of System X and instrumental in the new quarter million dollar sponsorship.
The Kapp and non Kapp players have blended into a really great Avalanche team with lots of potential. They're like a family and when anything happens to one of them it happens to all. They have some very large shoes to fill with a name like Avalanche on their jerseys. If it can be done at all, these are the guys that can do it.
