Just finished my first EP conversion.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzBBhygITTY

(The burping sound in background is a Phantom Sniper shooting next to me.)

Shooting Reactive Trigger. Unfortunately the classic valve hasn't sufficiently flow to run higher ROF. However, an X-Valve is ordered, yay!

Current setup:
- Automag Classic valve
- Venom on/off
- 2003 Shocker CCM Ripframe
- Universal T-Board
- Festo EP Solenoid
- Clippard actuator
- 8" Armson barrel
- ION inline regulator as LP source for the solenoid.

Awesome job. However, your Classic should be able to handle 15-17bps without shootdown, not 12. If you're only getting 12, something is wrong.

but why bother with the classic when there is a better faster lighter valve out there that will out perform the classic. ditch it and get an x

When I shoot faster than 12bps at ~280fps, I can hear clearly a pressure drop down. Sounds like an incompletely pressurized dump chamber. The Valve + Reg ist stock Automag Classic. New o-rings and carfully oiled with finest sewing machine oil. Just the on/off brass top cap was replaced by a Venom high flow. 5000psi tank with a quick Evil Scion 800psi preset (will be shimmed for 950-1000psi this weekend).
Maybe the Clippard piston needs more pressure (~100psi a.t.m). The sear needs an incredible high actuating force to close the on/off and release the bolt. But I wont screw up my solenoid with too many pressure.

I made a video of a recent trip back to the UK where I visited AGD Europe. John Sosta had some of his guns and old prototypes out so I took the opportunity to film them and show everyone some history.

The video includes what I believe to be the prototype for the first ever electronic automag, one of the first extreme E-Mags, one of the First X-Mag bodies, and the prototype "Aztec" X-Mag as well as a few other cool things.

It brings back some awesome memories of designing the X-Mag bodies and machining the first prototypes.

Shooting a little bit of my E90. It was a pump meet-up, so I didn't play with it that weekend. That and I still have to learn how to get around on the UTB.

My Minigun mag project

I kept it to a modest 25 bps but i am going to turn it up once it is complete with rotating barrels, and i smooth out the look and ruff edges.. Think i will set it at 30 bps for tank destruction.
