Angry eyes aint workin?!!!

i have an 05 speed and this has happened before so i got the new laser eyes and they worked for a while and now they arent either! wut happens is i turn on the gun and the eyes just dont turn on and when i shoot it only shoots like 1 ball a sec.....which is what happens when eyes arent functioning. at first when this happaned i just litely pushed the eye ribbon against the metal strips that the ribbon connects to on my board and they worked. but after a while they didnt work even when i did that. so i thought my eye ribbon was broke so i got the laser eyes and they worked for a while and now the same problem is happening!

so wut yall think is wrong???

Wow. For once I'm stumped.

I think the most logical solution is to make sure the eye port in your board isn't broken.

the port is fine because if u take a wire or just put ur ribbon in sideways, what this does is it connects 2 of the metal strips in the port and lights lite up saying the eyes r workin, but then the gun wont fire ...so basicly my board thinks my eyes r workin but i justrigged it to see if the port was messed up....p.s. this problem came out of no where, i havent tookin of my grips in a while so it broke itself some how?...hope we can figure this out im plannin on cappin some *****s this weekend.

Sadly, I don't have a gun with Fly eyes and I really can't think of much that would cause this besides a couple of bad wires and bad luck.

if you uninstall them and just have the grip off and plug them into the eye port and turn the gun on do they glow? if So maybe they are grounding out somewhere between the breach holes and the eye port. Just throwing out some ideas.

Is the trigger set too tight? Try adjusting it for more slack and see if that makes any difference.

Anyway, where did you buy the gun from? If it's not something simple like the trigger set too tight it should be covered by the warranty.

To add on to this, take the board and eyes out of the gun so that they are by themselves. Then just hook everything up and see if the eyes glow. This way you know for sure theres nothing grounding the eye wire and that the trigger is not effecting it.

or this will happen if he pushed the eyes out with a allen wrench, which some people do.

SO did you take the eyes out with an allen wrench?

An allen wrench (blunt ended) wont hurt the eyes. Pulling them out can rip them or damge them.

im not tryin to argue with you, but an allen wrench could hurt the eyes, it happened to a teamates gun, and he had the same prolems as described....
