FOM, lpr question

I was wondering if I could get my front cap tapped for an LPR instead of buying an ND one. The thing is it's one of the Snap Caps (on FF Imps) and they're pretty thin. Would it matter if the threads on the lpr reg entered the Imp body. Would the valve hit the threads when the hammer hit it? Would teflon tape prevent air from escaping out the front?

Also, your "take off" 2 hole vertical adapter..does it look just like the picture? That would work for the lpr mod right?

In the future, please call or PM FOM with direct questions.

As for tapping the flat cap, you can do that and then use a nut inside the cap to help hold the LPR in place.
