Blaze for the money is the best IMHO.
Evil is nice for a bit more... love that crispy, brittle shell.

Zap Primer

It was actually the only paint I could use because I was at a field 2 hours away and that was the only field paint they had. Greasy and BIG as hell [I had to use my 693 back], but it shot very accurately. The fill was VERY thick and visible, and I guess the grease shot through breaks nicely.

I think you nailed it, if your on a budget Zap Primer is a good paint. I've sen it for 45-50 a case and I've shot at least a case of it and it was pretty strong. Maybe not the best shell like you said but it held up well for the price.

So outside of the "expensive" paint, I'd say Zap Primer, PMI Premium (kinda inbetween mid range and expensive), and I've also had some sucess with Spank but I only shot one or two bags of it.

I'd go with the Primer if your on a budget. But don't let them sit!! They are pretty greasy and I let some balls sit for a month or two and they got nasty.

But if you own a bushy/FS.. you bought a good gun so give it good paint darnit! Feed it all the evil/blaze/chronic/midnight it wants.

Oh, and on the subject of Chronic's fills being hard to wash out.

I've heard this rumor before I used chronic. I got shot up with it pretty good on my pants and jersey and it left some good smears HOWEVER one wash with a lot of soap and the paint came right out.

I think the claims of Chronic staining gear is an urban myth, or it was started by people who don't know how to do laundry.

pbgear has some blaze in a brown box for like 33 bucks. Is this blaze, or rec blaze?
