A quick A80 question (moving barrel)

I know this has probably been discussed before, but how do you tell an old generation A80 from a new A80? I was considering getting it but I don't want an older one because of the moving barrel problems and such. All help is appreciated, thanks.

Lol...you answered the question for yourself actually.

An older one has the moving barrel and a newer one has a static breech.

When you're buying one...generally, you want to ask these questions:

1.) Does it have the 2-stage bolt?
2.) What kind of board does it have?
3.) Was it originally a recipricating Assault converted or was it built as a static Assault originally?

Just go to
http://www.warmachinepaintbal.com
and get the one from there. For $300 you can get the standard Assault.
