timmies suck but most owners do nothing to them.
all i do to my viking is put 3 drops of oil in the ASA 1 time a month. Thats it.
I go soo many stickers on it it will never scratch, or need cleaned.

yeah i know that. But there must be a reason that so many people use them. I have never seen one go down at my field, and that is one of the most popular there

I was looking on pbreview and alot of people were saying how bad the freestyle is, and icd was not help to them, and to take there money somewhere else. Is this true? This is basically what will make my decision

the 2004 1 gen has some air effeciency problems.. was resovled with 2nd gen with a H/E bolt. The 2005 does not have these small discrepencies nor the side plates. I have read all of pbreview freestyle reviews. And some of those are quite idiotic. Choose the ones with the "most helpful" enabled, or even "most recent".

quite true. I'm not one of them though. My timmy is getting custom delrin parts and such, and its shooting with oh so little kick. I've got a 7g ram vs. 39 g evil ram, 19g bolt vs. 43 g stock bolt, and making a 4g g10 pin vs. 12g stock pin. I have had to up my dwell to 12, use a light poppit spring, lpr pressure 70 psi, adn hpr 350, but oh my freakin god, the kick is SOOOO much less than it was stock. if ppl are the balls, much cna be done.

wolfstuff, dont listen to all the SP haters here, they say they break down all the time i bet they couldnt even guess which parts are the most common to break on them.
The guy who got me into paintball shoots and 04vision shocker and I must say it is really really nice, only problems he had were bad wire connections(which also plagued early bushies) and he had a real tough time getting it to chrono to low fps sometimes, had no problems 270fps and up but when he tried to lower to the indoor fields 250 limit it was crap....others things i noticed between it and the FS is thw weight increase in the shocker, and since his didnt have the HE then it was a big gas hog....
with a few exceptions(vikings) all markers will require about the same amount of maintenance as they all have HPR's and most LPR's that will need cleaning/lubing/adjusting and most markers wether stacked tube or single bore like the FS are relatively easy to maintain.

ok, since we're on it, how does a freestyle compare to a timmy, like an upped 2k2, or GZ/Z, or something like that.

i would easily take a freestyle over it. I was gonna get a 2k2 series timmy. Just get the nox lite for $25 and easily beat was'd timmy. The freestyle is also lighter and smaller. Efficiency with HE bolt will be almost as good but not as much

i dont think a nox freestyle could beat every wased timmy my 2k2 could hit in the twenties with paint and a good halo..... was is a great board, timmys are fast, im not knocking freestyles though, its just i wouldnt go right out and say it could beat a wased timmy, which in my opinion i think they are about equal if not thenthe timmy is faster...
