04 BKO reg problems

ok so i air it up and start shooting this thing in my garage. and i cant seem to get past 200psi on the HPR gauge. and once its at that, i fire one shot and the gauge goes all the way back down to around 0. and once its at 200, its also making a hissing noise, but i dont think its a leak cuz i didn feel air coming out.

oh and i can get the HPR to 250 now but then the needle moves to 200 and to 250 back and forth while hissing.

get a new reg

Make sure your on/off is not only slightly open or opened too much. It must be between. The reg may also need to be cleaned and relubed. Also how much air do have in your tank? Low psi (800 psi and under for me) causes shoot down.

Sounds to me like the reg wasn't properly lubed - dirty regs, or a non-lubed reg will suffer from shootdown pretty commonly.

this gun has only been used about 3 times, and those werent even in games or nothing. and my tank was full to 3000, but i think its my on/off i guess.

Disassemble your reg then lube it up good and nice...
