Unhappy boarder patrol and paintball

i was watching the news tonight and they had a segment about the us boarder patrol and new methods they are using for security reasons. They showed a demo video of a police officer using a tippman prolite to take down a person. The gun was firing "disarming pellets" which by watching the video looked like when they broke realeased a smoke that made the person gag and tear up. I also saw a tippman pro carbine in my newspaper a few months back being used by a police man to break up a riot. Im guessing that this will become a common thing.

This tend to be perfect circle paintballs made by the same people that make the Automag. They tend to be filled with pepperspray. They now used fairly commonly in prison riots.

Smile at-85

yeah i saw a segment on some station envolving all sorts of non lethal weapons that the military and police use and as well as the AGD handguns and tippmann prolites and procarbines they had AT-85's as their "heavy weapon" since its able to shoot full auto and they lit this one guy up pretty bad with the AT-85 on during a test or pratctice type thing they were doing. im not sure wether this stuff is good or bad. i gues it depends on the situation. i say, if some guy robs a bank, kills some people in there, has hostages etc, why try to take him out with pepper filled paintballs? thats like helping the guy out, they should just stick to their glocks and shotguns for situaitons like that. if theres a guy robbing a 7-11 or something, then i guess they can go ahead and use their pepperball sytem. if you check out that site posted above, its pretty interested. watch the videos too if you check out the site. also look at the products they sell, they even have 12 volt revvy's............im kind of leaning towards this being more bad than good.
