"What are the differences between stock board and the Equalizer board?

i wonder what they can improve on.
its not like you can go any faster on an uncapped board...

Really only 3 things they could improve..

1. PC interface for programming and monitoring performance.

2. Better eye logic with BIP that self adjusts to ROF like the Angels.

3. Increase the max ROF with eyes off...cause 25 just isn't fast enough and I play with my eyes off all the time.

But I couldn't see paying $$ over the stock since the Ghetto board is just so..."Ghetto"

WAS isnt stupid. There must be a good reason to get this board over ghetto. Why would they release a board worst then the stock board and charge 129.99.

I wouldnt get it tho

1- Would be cool, but not necessary for everyone...

2- that would be cool, it would make swappin hoppers during a tourney a little easier (like goin from your reloaderB to your revvyZ)

3- not sure since 25 is still dang fast, but i have had times when i played with the eyes off... i didnt have a hopper that could keep up even then so i had my bps set at like 20

but yeah, for $129 it better have some cool azz features since the Ghetto board is already so "Ghetto"

What is the weight of the Stock micro swtich on the PIMP. No way is it 80 right? They are selling a 25 for the pimp.

As for the board possible improvements by looking at the board is:
dwell adjustment buttons are gone.
Board is smaller

But dont think I am goign to fork out $100+ for a new baord.

However more people may buy the pimp just knowing they can get a new board for it lol

BIP works the same on both boards.

I haven't seen an Equalink that works on a Pimp board, but there might be one coming.

Advantages - Their debounce 1 is more illegal than ets of 1 on a stock Pimp. If your field doesn't care, then it is easier to shoot reeeeally fast.

Disadvantages - No dwell buttons.

Well it could be as long as dwell is still adjustable.

But my first pimp came kind jammed packed in thegrip. and to put any other grips on you had to cut out the back to prevent unwanted dwell adjustment. One improvement could be to lock dwell settings in live mode?

However I don't see the advantage to paying that much money for a board with not many advantages

am curious what the stock switch weighs though - they said it was 80 on their, but I thought it was 50

yeah, my grip is drilled on the backside for the dwell buttons to fit and not hit the grip... so yeah, thru the trigger is one thing.... but the dwell buttons function as the live/non-live mode switch...

Wow. I wonder when they would finally release a board for the PIMP. The ghetto is so much more Ghetto though. and why get a board that caps your MROF?

stole this definintion from was
removed specific to was stuff

Dwell

Dwell is the amount of time that the solenoid will be activated. This time is measured in milliseconds (1/1000th of a second).

Increasing your Dwell will increase the velocity of your marker. If you are experiencing a great variance in your chrono results, try increasing your Dwell and lowering your high pressure regulator. If your dwell is too low, consistency will suffer greatly.

So you would want a maker with high dwell and low operating pressure for better efficiency?

Is there a limmit to how high you would want the dwell?

By the way, could you explain debounce also?
I appreciate the info.

actually the lower the dwell the better effeicney you will get. I think they just meant that if you are getting inconsistant results at the chrono it could be helped by upping your dwell, as it may be too low.

Right now the best dwell seems to be 10-12 for the PIMP. Stock is 15 for most pimps which allows it to shoot better for break in period

Debounce, or in the Ghetto board: ETS - stolen again from was manual since i had it open :

Debounce is the amount of time the trigger switch must be stable in the up position before checking for another trigger pull. This time is measured in milliseconds.

If you find that your marker is double firing, increase the Debounce time. To make your marker fire faster due to being more responsive to the trigger, decrease the Debounce time.

The PIMP maunal covers these topics breifly as well

So you want the dwell around 11, and the debounce to as low as you can get it as long as there aren't any bounce issues?

I have a friend who is sponsored or will be soon by evil and was. He said he could get me a good deal on a pimp, but i won't get it untill the summer. He would probably throw in a was board. So which board would be better if the price was the same?

we'll the ghetto board is free
If the was board was free - not sure. I liek teh ghetto board. Don't see an advantage to was yet.

Also till summer is a long time to wait - you may be able to get it just as cheap now.
