Should I buy an EPIC?

IS it worth the $700 price tag compared to a $700 cocker?

What I mean is that: Is it consistant?
Accurate?
Durable?
Easy to maintain?
Worth me buying it over another $700 marker, like a cocker?

Your opinions matter!!!

No flaming intended but the Epic really isn't worth 700 dollars. Think of it as an expensive, small, mag with no bolt and has a loading mechanism that often james. (based on 2000 rounds of paint and 29 shots broke)

EPIC

To answer your question there is really no maintenance on the gun. As far as it being accurate yes it is.
yes it is a little price but then again so are most of the markers out there. The gun will operate on co2 just fine. The problem can be simply corrected by changing the trap door. It comes with a CP barrel and has Cocker threads!
If I can be of any more help on the EPIC please contact me via this site or at paintballny.com or go to ice paintball.com

Well not having to worry about it breaking down or having to time it kind of makes up for the high price... but I do agree it is a little pricy, as far as it jamming that is probably because the person probably didn't have the proper trap door in it to fit the paint.

Yes it comes with different trap door sizes to match the paint size that you are using, sort of like the freak inserts for the freak barrel.

To ansure your question yes you can change the trap door.
As far as chopping paint if the wrong trap door is used or not matched to the paint this might happen.

Almost
The Epic feeds just like a Splatmaster (also boltless).
Lets call it a $700 Splatmaster.

Seriously, if you like the Epic, get the Epic.
Its nice to have something "that nobody else has".
