Sonic help!

Hey guys I was just messing around wuth my Sonic this morning dry firing with my LPR down then I started to turn it up when i got up to like 250fps(best guess) it started to bounce/full auto the more i turned it up the faster so seeing how cool that was I loader up my reloader and let her rip choped like crazy. I tryed replacing the battery but I ran out of air. It this somthign a low battery could cause? I've been dry firing off an 71/4000 fill since yestery day so i could have ran it out. I'll get a fill in the next couple days and tinker with it more...

Thanks, new borg owner the thing did not come with a manual so it's sort of trial and error.

-Mike

sounds like ur detents might have been moved while dry firing, Try this out

remove bolt, barrel, and hopper

look down the bore of the gun from where the barrel would be

W/ an allen key, tighten ur right detent (the detent on ur right when looking down bore) and tighten it until you see the metal of the detent, then unscrew it to just when the metal goes away (stop when the metal is just a tiny bit gone... basicly, unscrew ti'll u can't see meatal ne more, then unscrew it a TINY bit more)

do the same thing for the other side

and you should be set.

what this does is give u maximum ball detent strength w/out having metal exposed giving u best results...

also, for some odd reason, my team mates borg just doesn't like halos... i have no clue why.. but meh (he won't let me tinker w/ it )

also, what part of florida u in?

They do tend to bounce if the set screws in the trigger are set wrong, or right, depending on how you look at it...Any way, try messing with the screw that contacts the switch in a tad bit, or backing out the post travel screw a tad bit. It doesn't matter witch one, but only one. It should stop bouncing. That's how I turn mine into a machine gun for funtimes in the back yard. Hmmmm, maybe I should make a video...
