Sushi1111 has one. They are great looking cars. For some reason, they remind me a little of Ferarris. What did the turbo ones do in the 1/4 mile?

1/4 times

~14.7 stock on the turbo's, mid 16's on the NA's for gen 2 mr2's.

I don't really like the new gen 3 mr2's all that much, but the gen 2 is where the turbo fun is at anyway. Intake, exhaust, and a $40 boost controller @ 15psi and you in the 13's. I've yet to take mine to an auto-x but it is quite competitive in its class apparently (Stock NA) and I'm sure thats where the fun is really at, being able to accelerate sooner through your turns since the weight is in the middle/back. Of course, there is the whole mid-engined aspect that is a PITA when it comes time to do serious engine work, but I think its worth it.

I would love to see them build a road course around here. I heard they were doing something out by the flea market. If so, that would rock. I would love to try my car on a real track. Wanna race

head up to bithlo sometime on either wednesday or friday nights; open track for $10/person. usually can get ~3 runs in.. come to think of it i havent run my car on the strip since before my mods...

a drag strip in melbourne would kick ***.. keep the ricers off the road racing one-another. is there anything worse than lining up with a ricer and then realizing that they were actually racing? Ya can't tell they're racing until you hear the buzzing bumblebee exhaust @ 8000rpm and when they're bounce off their rev limiters

What gen MR-2s we talking about?

91-95 are the best, the new MR-S's suck though

i would have gotten a 91 MR-2 with a T-78 Garret Turbo and front (YES FRONT) mounted greddy intercooler and other stuff but it was like 12000

and my 300z was only 7 so i had to go with the z (and shes damn fast)
