in my experience the only loader able to keep up with the excal at 13bps is the halo. I have been running the halo on my excal since they came out and have had little to no problems. my ex has been set at 13bps since I got the halo.

I heard the TurboRev eats batteries like no other, anyone know about this, or a solution?

I used the turbo rev for around 6 months and could never get it over 12bps with out it pinching on long strings of shots. the turbo rev board also drains your batteries down to nothing if you leave them in the loader. if you want to take your excal to 13bps get a halo. here is a link to a good price on one.

I use a Turbo rev and recharchables.. You just gotta unplug the batteries during the week when your not playing and they will last as long as stock revy. Turbo rev will get you to 12.65bps with no problem. You would probably need a halo or warpfeed to go higher.

I played a tournament and had to give up my turbo rev to another team mate and had to use a pre be 12v i was pinching the whole time. I used a hi rise and turbo rev usally nothing else can keep up.

12 volt X Board. Dynasty back guys use it and they dump paint really fast and for a long time. And they use Angel ir3's which, not to be mean, but are faster then the Viking

well at my local store we did a test when the halo first came out with a 12 volt x-board rev with evolution paddles and we got 14.2 bps on it. so a rev like that should shoot 13

This thread is about feeding an Excal, not a viking.........there is a difference. It is harder to feed a closed bolt marker a high speed, than it is to feed a open bolt marker. This is because the time the breach is open(to allow the ball to drop in) is longer on the open bolt markers. I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that a x-board revy will keep up with a excal with high rise at 12.65, but will skip shots at 13. I would suspect that the HALO would be able to keep up with the Excal at 13 because of it's design, but I don't have easy access to a HALO right now to test the theory.

Of course the IR3 is faster, the board is capped at like 20bps or something while the Viking is software limited to 13 bps. I would be that if you were to remove the software cap it would cycle at least as fast as the IR3. Of course I have serious questions about why the IR3 is capped at 20(besides it is another "feature" to add to the box) because I seriously doubt that the vavle system can recharge fast enough to avoid shootdown at that speed-----of course assuming anyone could reach that ROF.

I hear the Zap vibrating loaders feed very well considering that they keep agitating for a few seconds after the sensor see's a ball.

Very few people have them but all of them I have spoken too wouldn't ever go back to a Revvy.

But IMHO I'd get a new rikochet AK with the turbo board since the ricochet's aggitate after every ball fired which kinda helps with the whole run stop run problem.

Well then I don't know about their tests. I've simply met someone who used one with his Angel and a highrise and was able to shoot pretty long strings. I'd have to say at least as good as a Revvy if not better.

Thats no test I know just what I've seen with my own two eyes. I would give one a try but there's no point for me cause I shoot a cocker and am just not worried about bps that much.

Talking x-board

I'm running my Boxer/Race revy with an x-board and vortex impellar at 14.1 bps, 13bps should not be a problem.
