Unless you gots the cash and your playin some hardcore PB then get the new versions that are lighter, cause thats about the only difference. Cause the oldies with a new board will shoot just asfast and you didn't pay 2200.00cdn (again ****ers) I need to live in the States.
800 cdn isnt too terrible for a 2k2...isnt that about $600-$650 US?

Jus get the lasoya, hybrid ram cap, violent products hpr pistion and lpr pistion if it works with pre-2k4 guns and ur set o yea and a new barell and you will still have like 200 so there you go. if you play front take the 200 and buy a 45 un less you have one and put a revy on there.. no need for a halo

Exactly.

JkMan82, the Lasoya isn't going to weigh 10 pounds more than the Alias, but think about it.

Alias- 1.4
Lasoya 2.85

The Lasoya weighs over double what the Alias will, and it's going to be bigger. "Who cares?" -- I would.

I would not recommend the VP pistons for him at this point. They will do nothing to improve consistency unless his current pistons are not functioning properly. Delrin pistons will only provide for less wear.

For the price difference between the Alias and Lasoya, take the Alias. It's worth the money.

O god forbid his set up is a little bigger and is 1.4 pounds heavier and he saves 300 bucks.. cry me a river

1.4 pounds is very noticable when holding both guns at the same time, and playing with both back to back.

Well that 2.84 and 1.4 isn't comparing apples to apples.

If you know your sh¡t (and I do), the 1.4 Alias weight is without Torpedo and Barrel. With those things on it the difference in weight between the 2 is a few ounces. NOT, I Repeat... NOT 1lb.

Either way, 2k2 Style Lasoya or Alias you can't go wrong, but the Alias is the better of the 2 for a few reasons.

Smaller
Lighter (just by a bit)
Better Balanced
Faster (Just a smidge)
And the New front Block has a built in Mini-Volumizer which will be more consistent.

Those are the factors you'll need to make a fully informed decision.

play with both, i have a 2k2 lasoya and love it, one thing i didnt like about the 2k4 guns is that they seem too small to me, idk maybe you just have to get used to it

I would LOVE to hear your explanation on how the Alias is faster than an Intimidator of the previous generation.

The New 2k4 noid is supposed to be faster cycling so that's what would make it faster.

I'm pretty sure that's what I read.

The newer model Humphrey solenoid used in the Alias model markers will not allow you to cycle any faster.

"were brothers"??!?!?!???

Well SSELEC@F,

That's nothing you'd want to broadcast I'm sure.

As for the Noid being faster, I will call Humphrey's tomorrow and I'll post the info they give me. I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere though.

A kid posted the other day saying Humphrey recommends regularly oiling their solenoids. While you are on the phone with them ask them about that as well. Thanks.

Well the answer to that is, if you lube it, you will need to keep lubing it, but it may stick on occassion so lubing it is NOT the way to go.

I never lubed mine and had a sticking problem right out of the box and I covered the holes where the air was leaking from, and instantly it fully cocked the marker. It happened twice and I never had the problem since.
