leak around my drop forward

alright i screw my 68/3000 HP tank into my system x drop forward on my BKO, and there is a HUGE leak where the 90* elbow meets the drop forwad. i tightened it as much as i could, so it wouldnt be tightened any more, i screw my tank in again, and still there is a HUGE leak, i mean the gas is escaping quickly, i lost 2 bars on the guage from this, and i didnt leave the tank in long, long enough to find its source. i use plastic macro line, but the leak doesnt seem to be coming from there, it is either escaping around the tank and coming right back out the front of the drop forward, or its leaking through the 90* elbow.

i have no diea how to fix this, is there something i should put aroun d the threads so nothing escapes at the 90* elbow or around the actual tank, not sure if its escaping aroun d the tank, but it might be, theres a lat of leakage around the drop.

teflon type around the treads of the 90* elbow. Should work fine. Always does.

to find the exact spot where the lead is, u can make a solution with soap and water or something else and water and it will make bubles where the air leaks. Once you find out exactly where it is, we can help you out more

if its the actuall elbow then yeah, get some teflon tape at your local hardware store. If its coming from the tank threads then check the tank o ring.

yeah check tank o right forgot that
and pick up some teflon, warp it around the threads on the elbow about 2-3 times so you can still fell the threads . also check the cap on the other side of you drop if you get a chance wrap some around that just incase. good luck

if you don't know how to fix that then you shouldn't own a bko. i can't imagine what you've done to it. n00b.

lol. wow. i thought it was leaking from the macroline elbow. do not use loc tite, use teflon. and you only need to wrap it once, not three times. go in the plumbing section, plumbers use it to seal leaks on pipes.

alright it works! everything works perfect, no leaks nothing, except my N2 tank is draingin at a fairl high rate, istarted with 2000psi, and after a couple dry fires, i was down to 1000. my LPR is pretty high though, probably near 300fps, i dont ahve a chrono around me, but its as high as it can go without leaking
