Were you able to get it apart? I just went through all this with mine. It is doing the exact same thing that mine was. It was the little front black plastic block on upsidedown. You can take that off with two screws without removing the noid from the marker. If your screws are so stripped that you can't get it appart, then yeah, you need a new noid, but I'm not voting until all of the facts are in.

Okay.

I took it apart, yes cleaned it. But I put it back together right, ( I marked it ). The screws ARE stripped on the manifold. But about 1 hr ago, it stopped working.

It never cycled fromt he begining. Im new to solenoids, these actually push the ram forward correct? so a weak/bad solenoid cant push the ram enough to push the valve pin in and let it cycle, right? Because it pushes the ram, but not enough to move the valve pin.

Im going to bed, if anyone has any ideas, lemme know, im going to order it 5:30am tommorow unless someone has a better idea.

The solenoid uses air pressure to move that barrel with the o-rings on it. Thas why the front cap is critical. It has a very small air passage that lets air back to the switching part of the solenoid.
The way it works is a tiny valve is opened at the magnetic part of the noid. That allows air to move the barrel valve, and allow air to work the ram. If its not even clicking, there is an electrical problem as well.
If you are going to get a new noid, be sure to get the Humphrey. It has better flow. I still wouldn't give up.

Yep, I played on that one.

I think and I would put money on it that the noid is busted.

Does the bolt slide out of the gun easily when you take out the pin?

if not the pin slot might be burred and is holding the trigger back

also check your ram spring if its not all fudged

the spring might of kinked and the guide might be jamming

i hope you can fix it

I tried 2 bolts, the original didnt slide well, so I thought it was that but the stock bolt slid well and it didnt work then. Springs are good, I cleaned them too. also, What guide are you talking about? The one on the valve pin? I dont have one there..?

BTW the gasket wasnt blowin, it looked like it was, but it still leaked through the noid when shot, maybe this is normal, like an exhaust? But the noid doesnt click anymore, and why not make my frist upgrade a high flow noid.... IF THIS DOES WORK, will I see an increase in cycle rate even thouhg I have never shot this marker yet?

Thought you weren't supposed to lube noids. According to Steve and Greg, even 1 drop of oil on the ram will make it's way to the noid and ruin it.
I've never bought into that idea, but you wouldn't believe how many times I've been scolded for using oil on "thier" markers.

Sorry I was at school.

I did everythign to the noid, I looked it up on a lot of forums, the genreal thing it said, was clean it, lube it, screw it down more/loctite it, resolder/check the concetions, check the back, check the gasket. Well I did all this and the clicking sound was still very, very low. And the video i had above, what would make it fire once in a blue moon?

btw, how can I get ahold of Goldie?

OMG
lol, get this.

When I got the gun, the on/off switch was broken, but it wasnt prior to shiipping, i saw it work etc.

Anyways, Im looking at the my noid again ( doesnt click anymore, its an intenal electric problem, I take it apart even more than I did. Guess what I found INSDIE THE NOID NEXT TO THE INTERNAL GASKET? The piece of the metal that was missing from the switch, inside the noid. WTF?

Now I KNOW its the noid.

Well the guy who sold me it is helping me out, always good

PS. It was INSIDE not on the side, just wtf lol
