Question Which would work better? LPR mod on cap or adapter?

What would work better and why? LPR mod on front cap or vert adapter? I'm seriously thinking about doing this mod-if I ever learn how to do it. Well anyway I see the all a's and strange w/ the mods on their front caps but people here on pbnation have em' on the vert adapter. What's the dif? What is better: the freak factory lpr mod or just getting like a shocktech reg and doing it myself? And what would it do on my gun? I'm looking for consistency and efficiency. Thanks all!!

the freak one is like that so if you have the new gas thrus you don't need to replace that and get a vet adaptor to use it. They work the same. I would just slap it on your vert adaptor. This way you don't have to worry about threading anything.

the cap is the best way to go and then put a gauge on the back in the solenoid tube if you have a brass hammer and delrin bolt it should be at 120psi make sure its the sp lp gauge any ques pm me

Actuly its better on the vert adapter. as many of you know, there is a small but measurable preformance increese with the "extended" valve caps. Any of you that work with hot rod motors will understand the concept of "ram tuneing" To grossly over simplify, a longer colume of air will keep moving by the valve even when the vlave is almost closed.

I won't bore you with a lot f theory, simply stat that many fokes have found that changing only their valve cap can have a slight increese in veloicity.

Now when you hang a LPR on the end of the valve cap, you are actuly putting a "drain plug" at the wrong end of that colum of air. and you have the solonild "demanding" air from the column of air that the valve is demanding air from.

But frankly-- its just a whole lot easier to mount on the vertical adapter (not to mention you can still use a cool looking valve cap)

The resion SP does it on the valve cap is that to mount it on the vertical adaper, you no longer have a PRV. Now my theory is taht we are using low pressure hose off the LPR-- so in an over pressure situtation, the air line will Blow off

We will be doning all your LPRs from the vertical adapter

We are happy ot just supply the kit withou LPR (so you can add your own) or with the LPR. So far, the best LPR we have tested is the KAPP-- and it looks good on the rats too!

It should be about anouther week before they are offered to the public

ya foms right plus to add something to fom's on the vert adapter the lpr will be set back an inch or so farther than putting it on the cap(less likely to hit the lpr on a bunker that way)also you can put it on a vff just need to plug the other air passage i don't know about the ndff or any other non tapping brands
