Demonic Strangler

Just wanted to hear some input for anyone who has tried the strangler. Does it do a good job of locking in your hopper, and how easy is it to switch between high and low rise? Also any info about wether anyone has them in stock, or when another batch will be out would be helpful.

Thanks

I have it and I like it. It gets looks all the time and it holds the hopper in great. I still had to sand it down a tiny bit (key word is tiny). Also, it is easy to switch from high to low or low to high. I do not use loc tite on it b/c it has a perfect fit with the threads and it has not moved yet and I have played a tourney and a few weekends of rec ball since then. Hope this helps.

Yea, no problem.... no it was easy to get off, use a strap wrench, they sell them at sears and you can use them for other stuff to. It was so much easier getting the feed tube off w/ the strap wrench then heating it and trying to twist it off by hand.

so you didn't have a problem with getting it off...you didn't struggle to where you were using force that could possbly strip the threads? it just screwed right off?

Does anyone know who might have these in stock? I e-mailed Demonic days ago, and still have heard nothing.

Impulseben: No, like I said I used a strap wrench which made it VERY VERY easy. I used almost no pressure to take it off.

You can get them at www.e-paintballoutlet.com i do believe they are on back order though... you should call them

took mine off. back to stock. found the thing to hold the hopper in, but it was too easy to spin l-r. (Does that make sense? it wouldn't lift out, but spun around)

also, i think my firing style didn't fit a low rise well.

still, it sure looked good.

Let me tell you this, IF you dont heat the feed tube, you run the risk of damaging the threads, I have seen it before. When you use just brute force to remove it, you need to remember it was put on with green loc-tite that almost bonds with metal, when you snap that off you could break off some threads on the body too, just use a hair dryer to heat it up, then use the strap wrench to finish the job

JR: Once I got mine off it had red loc tite, not green.... for some reason it seemed pretty easy to get it off... BTW, I bought it brand new so there was no one to change the loc tite.
