Depends what your looking for. For photography, your choice is Photoshop Elements. For regular **** use Photoshop 7.

nonono, photography benefits A LOT from photoshop 7 / CS. Elements is somewhat ill-equiped, completely missing a curves adjustment (which is real useful) and a few other nifty micro-tricks that nobody but a photographer would really give half a **** about. But they're nice  |

Eh, you would know. But yes Photoshop 7 is clearly the best.

No, Photoshop CS is clearly the best... It has the same features as 7, but hogs less memory and also adds summore wanted filters to the mix (for those of us who like to use filters). I hear there is faster load time and a few more tools, I haven't really looked into it much though.

7 is easier to acquire..
CS is harder to acquire and slightly better

It is harder to register it.. I have about 3 copies of it if anyone wants to try, I cannot get it to register..
These are not bought copies

wdp is right unless u want to pay some serious money then just go with 7 its alot less of a hassle to setup and get cs only has a few other filters and it has a screening thing so u can see what it looks like with filters easier just find a copy of 7
