I Love My Tippmann A-5 (Read This)

I was stuck on buying an entry level electro-gun such as an Impulse or a BKO etc. For a long time I have been saving and I almost had the money but instead i put the money away for my car. During this period of me wanting a higher end gun I had my A-5. I now realize that I will be playing woods more and my A-5 has serious potential. I right now have a Empire Twister Barrel 14 inch (i high recommend this barrel b/c it is rifled, accuarate, and inexpensive). I also have a double trigger. I cannot wait to post pics once I order and install my Shocktech Drop (Blue), my shocktech foregrip (blue), proseal bolt, and e-grip. I was also thinking of getting a madman spring kit. Love you tippmann and treat it well. With the proper upgrades you can rip (maybe not as hard as an impulse etc.) but it will rip and its not the gun its the player. I am glad i realized that. congradulations you have just figured out what many space gunners never do, there is more to the sport than shooting 25 bps. The A5 set up correctly can rule a woodsball field

i love my a5 too and my many 98s, 1 of which is a parts gun, 1 has an ebolt (gave to my dad so he would buy me all my paint

) 1 w/ a flatline and an older one w/ just a new barrel which i just sold

I had an A-5 with flatline and a stock. Rulled the woods. In my mind the more you put on a tippy other than a barrel and a few other things you just increase your chances of something going wrong.
I use a 98c as my back up its stock except for a barrel.
I use a revy and nitro and its fine for speed woods.

Fear my Tippmann, I have played speed ball with a stock 98 with just a revvie and beaten guys with angels and automags. Not that I don't think either of those guns are awesome, but you can win with a tippmann.

I sold my A-5 and bought a 98c... just couldnt live without a gun i can throw against a tree then pick up and kick some *** with..

If you read the thread starter's first post he clearly says an A-5 CANNOT rip as well as an imp... you stupid ****.
